How to identify RAW HAIR?
How to know if hair is RAW HAIR?
Well, let us answer that for you! As experts with nearly 10 years of experience, we know RAW HAIR inside and out!
RAW HAIR is pure, unprocessed, natural hair that has NEVER undergone any chemical treatments. It comes from a single donor to preserve the hair's structure, keeping its properties intact, along with the fiber and proteins. The cuticles are aligned in the same direction, preventing tangling, which is common with most hair found on the market.
RAW HAIR is soft, silky, thick, and full. This type of hair is extremely durable and can last up to ten years with proper care. It has a natural medium shine. It is recognizable because it looks like real hair, with no added chemicals to make it shiny or overly perfect. You may find some white hairs and strands with uneven lengths and colors, as each donor is different. Hair that is too uniform likely comes from processed hair or multiple donors.
Being real human hair, RAW HAIR can be bleached to platinum blonde, which is not possible with chemically treated or colored hair.
Be cautious! Many sellers claim to offer RAW HAIR from a single donor, but this is often not the case. The hair frequently comes from multiple donors, causing the strands to tangle due to misaligned cuticles. Chemicals are often added to enhance the hair's appearance and shine, but this type of hair doesn't last as long as genuine RAW HAIR.
RAW HAIR can be restyled (straightened, curled, waved) and is heat resistant. It can also be colored and bleached. However, to preserve the hair for as long as possible, we recommend avoiding frequent coloring, bleaching, and excessive heat styling, as this can alter the hair’s natural structure.
